MANAL ALDOWAYAN SOLO SHOW AT KATARA ART CENTER - Doha, Qatar

A Retrospective of Manal’s artworks will be exhibited at Doha’s Katara Art Center. The exhibition will span the artist’s career and will include works from her “I Am”, “Landscapes of the Mind”, “And We Had No Shared Dreams”, and her new art piece “My Name”. The exhibition opens on February 9th, 2012 at the Katara Galleries - Bldg 19 - Doha - Qatar

“SIMPLY WORDS?” - Exhibition at AB Gallery, Switzerland

The exhibition SIMPLY WORDS? deals with the word - a phenomenon that is not understandable for all. How can the word transcend cultural boundaries? Where is its place in a globalised, digital world? Having explored these questions in various ways the four following artists will now present their work at AB Gallery Lucerne: Manal AlDowayan (Saudi Arabia), Simeen Farhat (USA-Pakistan), Farideh Lashai (Iran), Claudia Meyer (Switzerland-France). Show opens Feb 5 - March 10, 2012.
