Move, Pause, Return: IVDE Gallery, Dubai

Manal AlDowayan’s sculpture The Emerging will be presented at IVDE Gallery, Dubai, as part of the group exhibition Move, Pause, Return, on view from March 23 to April 11. Conceived as a cumulative 20-day exhibition, the project unfolds through the daily unveiling of one artist and artwork, gradually building a collective presentation of works, reflections, and encounters.

Developed in collaboration with curator Alexie Glass-Kantor, Move, Pause, Return marks a special anniversary moment for the gallery. Presented both in the gallery and online, the exhibition creates space for a slower and more layered engagement with each work, with each unveiling accompanied by a short text by emerging curators, writers, and practitioners from across the region. The Emerging will be revealed on April 2 (Day 11) before joining the exhibition in its complete form.
