Move, Pause, Return: IVDE Gallery, Dubai

Manal AlDowayan’s sculpture The Emerging will be presented at IVDE Gallery, Dubai, as part of the group exhibition Move, Pause, Return. Opening on March 23, the exhibition unfolds over its first 20 days through the daily unveiling of one artist and artwork, gradually building a collective presentation of works, reflections, and encounters. Following this initial sequence, the full exhibition remains on view through the end of May.

Conceived in collaboration with curator Alexie Glass-Kantor, Move, Pause, Return marks a special anniversary moment for the gallery. Presented both in the gallery and online, the exhibition creates space for a slower and more layered engagement with each work, with each unveiling accompanied by a short text by emerging curators, writers, and practitioners from across the region. The Emerging will be revealed on April 2 (Day 11) before remaining on view as part of the complete exhibition.
