The complexity of the past and the volatility of the present create a constant need for fragmentation as a response, a desire to suspend time, to pause the film, to never finish the sentence. In this work I will attempt to construct what it means to be a woman in the imagined future. I will explore the idea of the fragmented image placed in paused time and space. The artwork will only exist for a moment and then it will disappear. The artwork can be seen as multiple pieces of knowledge that strive to be one piece or alternatively a single fragment that strives to stand on its own, opposing completion and perfection. It is complete in its incompletion.
