Manal AlDowayan’s artwork "Epheremal Witness" is now displayed in the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
In this piece the artist, inspired by desert roses, use their form, their environmental status and their metaphysical uses to understand the impact of the environment on human behavior, specifically on the changing status of women’s bodies entering the public sphere of Saudi society.
The work was acquired by the museum in 2022. You can find the artwork on the level 4, central aisle.
